What services does the Edward M. Calvo Cancer Foundation provide to cancer patients?

The Edward M. Calvo Cancer Foundation currently provides monetary grants of $500.00 for assistance with medical, travel, and other incidental expenses that accompany cancer treatment. In the long term, the Edward M. Calvo Cancer Foundation is working towards expanding services to include local support for cancer patients such as a resource center, support groups, etc.

Who is eligible to receive a grant from the Edward M. Calvo Cancer Foundation?

Any individual diagnosed with cancer who is a resident of Guam, or has temporarily relocated off-island for treatment, is eligible to receive a grant from the Edward M. Calvo Cancer Foundation.

Those requesting grants must provide documents from a board certified physician confirming the diagnosis of cancer.

How often may a cancer patient receive a grant from the Edward M. Calvo Cancer Foundation?

A local cancer patient may receive a grant once in any twelve month period.

Where can I purchase “ Guam is Good” wristbands?

“ Guam is Good” wristbands are available at the Two Lovers' Point gift shop, DNA and DNA Evolution (both located in the Plaza shopping center in Tumon). Wristbands may be purchased online soon.
